This is my favorite grocery store! They have a very wide selection, including a robust assortment of international food. They carry good quality products, and they always have great specials running. The owner is very friendly, and it's clear that he takes a lot of pride in his work and business. The staff are all very kind and helpful as well. Can't recommend enough!

This store is wonderful! As someone who lives Kalamazoo and can sometimes struggle to find very special ingredients from different cultures for recipes, Midtown Fresh has it all!!! Not only that but the store is very well organized and has amazing customer service (shout out to Tom!).

This local grocery store made an outstanding first impression. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and genuine. The customer service stood out immediately—both the clerk and even other customers greeted me warmly as a first-time visitor, which says a lot about the culture of the place. The butcher employee was especially impressive—friendly, attentive, and more than happy to gather and prepare the meats for a great bulk package deal. To top it off, they offered thoughtful welcome gifts, including a bag of freshly made pita chips and a pint of pico, which were both delicious and a nice personal touch. The owner even took the time to introduce himself and personally ask for my business. It’s rare to find that level of care and hospitality anymore. Overall, a fantastic first experience—I’ll definitely be back.

This store is amazing! Not only do they have a huge variety of items. And good deals but, the management is great! I stopped in for a few things yesterday. The manager, Sam gave me a fantastic deal, rang me up personally. I could also see the commarradee between him and his employees was strong...like a family. Although I live on the the other side if town, I will come back again soon when I have an extra few hours to explore the whole store. 😁

The food generally looked pretty good, but at the time that I was in the store which was about 130 in the afternoon the taco Tuesday taco bar was pretty picked over and sad looking. I realize that this is because it was popular and they simply didn’t have time to refill it, but it was slightly disappointing. I opted for the salad bar
